The Dirty Three
Welcome to Dirty Three. They love pinot noir and they love the three distinct “dirts” their vines grow in. Their name could be a story about Australian music (which they do love as much as Pinot) but really it all just comes to the dirt.
They make wines from a place you’ve probably never heard of; South Gippsland, Victoria somewhere along the coast between the Penguins and the Prom.
They make wines with soul, that speak of the dirt in which they’re grown and that ooze the love they have for this wily grape. There are four of them all together, wines from three individual patches of dirt and one that brings all the characters together in a single wine.
